Burlington Outdoor Activities

Maiben is a terrific neighborhood park with a large, covered picnic shelter, tennis and basketball courts. Children especially will enjoy the playground area and the Kiwanis Water Park. Burlington's Community & Senior Center are also located at Maiben Park.

Rotary is a great family park that offers a covered picnic shelter, a play area for kids, sand volleyball courts, cloverleaf baseball complex and a horseshoe pit. Burlington's architecturally designed Sk8 Park can also be found at Rotary and is one of the best in the region.

This multifaceted 51-acre complex is used for a variety of sporting events and league play. We offer over 22 soccer fields, 8 baseball diamonds, 24 horseshoe pits and we have plenty of open space for Disc and Frisbee tournaments, too. Along with the playfields, there are restroom facilities, concessions, a covered shelter, lighted parking and a children's playground on site.

Skagit River Park's latest addition is the Oval and Off Road remote control car track. NORA (Northwest Oval/Off-Road R/C Association) operates its races at the track every Friday evening from May until October. Races are open to the public, no charge for spectators.
